Invitations

No party will be a party if your guests don’t know to come.

The invitation is the first thing your guests will see. It will lay the foundation and set the expectation for your entire event.

With all of today's technology, there are many ways to send out your invites.  Which one you choose will depend and many things such as timing, budget, theme, and formality (or lack thereof) of the party.  Click on the links below for detailed information and pros and cons.

When to Send

When to send your invitations will depend on your type of celebration.  But the general rule is 'the sooner the better'.

If you don't know specific details, but have the date picked out, you can send a 'save' the date' card.

  • Formal events and weddings: 8 weeks

  • Costume parties: 6 - 8 weeks
