“March is an example of how beautiful
new beginnings can be.”
In the early Roman calendar, March was the first month of the calendar year. As March brought the first day of spring with the vernal equinox, it was the start of new beginnings.
“March” is named for the Roman god of war, Mars. With March typically marking the beginning of warmer weather, warriors would begin to train and fight once more as the frost thawed and the ground became easier to work on.
